Joel had owned and operated
two other tattoo shops in Kennebunkport since 1981.
In 1996 we started Atlantic Tattoo Company in a small
space attached to Joel's mom's house in Kennebunkport.
In
May of 2000, we moved into our present location on Rt. 1
in Kennebunk, Maine.
We
are 100% dedicated to our business, and are always working
to improve in all aspects of the business. We are
constantly updating our knowledge and thus, public
awareness. Whether it has been receiving our blood
borne certification at the local fire department, or
helping the state of Maine to rewrite the tattoo rules,
our customers concerns and safety are always our top
priority.
In this
world of ever changing trends, people seem to think that
tattoos and body piercing are just one of those
"crazy trends" that kids do. We don't feel
that is the case at all. People from all walks of
life and professions have always enjoyed their tattoos and
will continue to for a long time to come. We invite
